Production of very high, pulsed magnetic fields

The purpose of this collaboration is to provide a general framework in which the high magnetic field laboratories in Toulouse, Dresden und Nijmegen will collaborate to enhance the development of pulsed magnetic field installations. The partners will coordinate development activities where practical, exchange information regarding development results and organize mutual working visits by researchers and technicians at the respective institutions. They will pursue funding together for joint programs where the capabilities of the respective institutions are complementary and strengthen to overall program.We will carry out two 2-to-3-days workshops annually in 2003, 2004 and 2005 to prepare and accompany these cooperations and to exchange knowledge.
