MAUS – Machine-AUtomated Support for Software Management Plans

The MAUS project promotes the use of software management plans (SMPs). The aim is to support the explicit use of research software by scientists through simple services. This is achieved through a seamless flow of information into and out of SMPs. The open source software RDMO forms the technical basis, as it is already in use as an infrastructure at many German scientific institutions. A pure focus on technical solutions will hardly lead to success with the users. The technical measures are therefore flanked by training courses, training materials and examples of best practice.
