In this project, the scientific focus is on the development of molecular dielectric materials for high-frequency (HF) applications that can be processed using the aerosol jet method at low process temperatures. Optimised molecules will be identified using a "materials discovery" approach, which we are currently developing for the implementation of molecular materials with tailored properties, as for instance required for photovoltaics. The biggest technological challenge is the implementation of an autonomous synthesis platform for dielectric materials and the corresponding training of prediction models for dielectric losses. The central scientific question is the development of structure-property relationships for organic dielectrics for HF applications. To this end, the prediction models are developed in such a way that molecular structures can be translated into a dielectric loss. Based on the significant structural predictors of the prediction model, the corresponding material science models are developed.
