The objective is to research graded injection moulded components at an early stage of product development and to research a highly adaptive production process for injection moulded analogue components with continuously configurable fibre architecture. Additive manufacturing is used to generate local changes to the fibre architecture during layer build-up. On the one hand, by investigating a manufacturing process for intrinsically graded additively manufactured components and, on the other hand, via individual 3D continuous fibre reinforcement structures that are applied to printed components and analysed.
