Model reduction and formalisation for increased efficiency of integrative simulation chains (C03)

The aim of the sub-project is to enable integrative simulation chains in the context of structural and process optimisation of components with continuous grading. This is due to the combinatorial range of local micro-morphologies, constituent proportions and constituent properties on the process side and the associated effort involved in determining all the necessary local mechanical and thermal property profiles. Consequently, novel, data-driven approaches for the prediction of these property profiles based on uniform local material descriptions of graded FRP are being researched.
