In this sub-project, both the environmental modelling and evaluation of circular interventions with a view to entire product systems and life cycles as well as the embedding in PLM system are at the forefront of the research work. The aim of the project is to bring together research from both areas, PLM and environmen-tal assessment, and link them in such a way that sustainability and circularity become guiding decision-making criteria in the product development process, taking into account graded lightweight structures and compossible production processes.
