New metrics for transportation system appraisal (C01)

Project C1 will develop portfolios of metrics from the 4F principles "function", "form" and "fairness", "forever". More nuance will be given to the uneven impacts among population groups. The methods used for this project include appraisal metrics to evaluate transportation systems based on the 4F principles, formulating network design and setting up relevant optimization algorithms, automated transportation modeling techniques to set up test case experiments, and data analytical methods to find correlations and Pareto optimal conditions in multiobjective optimizations.
