The aim of the project is to develop and analyze a numerical algorithm to solve optimal control problems with non-convex and non-smooth cost functionals. The algorithm will be based on the Pontryagin maximum principle. We want to prove convergence of the algorithm in the sense that the residual in the maximum principle tends to zero. In addition, we are interested in proving convergence rates under suitable assumptions.
