The Project "Social Ecology" intends to ensure a high-quality research infrastructure for social-ecological research on the causes and consequences of the relationships between land use, biodiversity and ecosystem services. Responding to the increased interest in social-ecological research projects within the Biodiversity Exploratories, the envisaged Core Project will provide relevant services to the contributing projects. In particular, the Core Project aims to: 1).set the basis for a regular social-ecological monitoring on perception, attitudes and values of biodiversity of citizens and stakeholder within the exploratories regions (WP1); 2) support and advice social-ecological research within the Biodiversity Exploratories (WP2); 3) contribute to knowledge and data integration activities (WP3). All data collected in this Core Project will be available to contributing projects via BExIS.
