GPU-Cluster

This project summarizes the GPU requirements of the Faculty of Business and Economics, the Faculty of Philology and History, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Applied Computer Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine in the research areas of Multimodal Computing, Biophysics, AI and Simulation in Engineering and Technical Systems, and Quantum Science. The project is for a cluster of high-performance networked compute nodes with current GPU cards and a fast storage system for batch operation. The University of Augsburg is thereby expanding its central offering for compute- and data-intensive research projects with the necessary GPU resources.
