The project [ExcluCare] analyzes constellations of inclusion and exclusion in processes of child and youth welfare removal (WR). We examine WR as a transition in the lives of young people which has the potential of a crisis of integration due to exclusion accompanying inclusion into welfare services and challenging belonging and participation. [ExcluCare] focuses on the organization of this process through an ethnographic design. It aims to reconstruct how inclusion is related with exclusion and how this affects participation, belonging, and social justice.
