Inclusion and Justice in the Context of Urban Gentrification Processes [InJustGentri] (B04)

The research project B04 focuses on urban neighborhoods that have traditionally been characterized by marginalized population groups and corresponding processes of exclusion and injustice in the educational system, but that have recently experienced an influx of wealthier households and gentrification processes. In a long-term study using quantitative and qualitative methods, the project examines how the social upgrading and gentrification of neighborhoods produce old and new forms of inclusion and exclusion within the organizations and practices of the educational system.
