Child protection in Schools. Well-Being and Emotional Violence in Educational Relationships [CHIPS] (C03)
Subject Area
Educational Research on Socialization, Welfare and Professionalism
Term
since 2026
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 549839646
In C03, we conduct interviews in German and Austrian schools to examine students' experiences with well-being and emotional violence by educational professionals and teachers within the context of educational relationships. The study explores how both phenomena are perceived, discussed, and dealt with in schools. By focusing on subjective perspectives—particularly those of students, but also of professionals and teachers—and by interlinking both phenomena, the project expands current discourses on recognition, justice, and inclusion.
