An AI-based climate model will be developed to assess the availability of resources for the production of fungal composites. The growth of agricultural and forestry resources for composites is highly dependent on climatological changes in the water cycle and temperature. The occurrence of extreme events (long droughts, extreme precipitation) plays a crucial role. An AI model will be implemented that combines trends in weather extremes and hydrological data with climate-induced land use changes to determine the most suitable regions for growing raw materials for fungal composites.
