Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 548244816
The focus will be on material-technological characterisation related to the thermal, moisture, and fire protection behaviour of fungal composites produced by F. fomentarius when cultivated on plant substrate particles. The project systematically explores various modifications to enhance the thermal material behaviour of F. fomentarius composites and develops methods that can control their moisture-, and fire-related characteristics.
