The project aims to explore perspectival contrast as a new way of subtle, user-focused attention control in the context of glyph-based multivariate 3D visualizations in immersive virtual environments. To understand this, we will first explain the properties of glyph visualizations and explain the advantages of a transfer into immersive 3D space. Next, the need for attention guidance in data visualizations is derived using examples. Thereupon the explanation of the necessary use of the perspective contrast follows. Finally, relevant research questions are derived.
