The Q2 platform will provide high quality animal husbandry and animal care and will enlarge and adjust its capacities to the needs of the SFB/TRR 57. Q2 will allocate and offer continuous education, training and support to the scientists of the collaborative research centre SFB/TRR 57. To facilitate high throughput import, handling and use of new mouse lines, the tool box of the Transgenic Service will be extended (sperm freezing, IVF, CRISPR/Cas). Q2 will scientifically validate experimental methods questioned by the authorities to support the research groups of the SFB/TRR57.
