will be affiliated to the Bonn International Graduate School BIGS Neuroscience, which has been recently established as a common graduate school of the Medical Faculty, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) and the research center Caesar. BIGS Neuroscience provides a structured curriculum for all Neuroscience Ph.D. students, along with a rigorous supervision, quality control and mentoring system. IRTG students will have access to the full range of opportunities in BIGS Neuroscience, but will be able to profit from additional measures implemented in the CRC (see project description of IRTG). Some CRC students may also be integrated within the International Max Planck Research School 'Brain and Behavior' (IMPRS), as the topic of this school is centrally within the topic of the CRC. Also, in these cases, IMPRS students will have access to additional measures implemented in the CRC.
