The European research training group is aimed at realizing an interdisciplinary and international program of legal studies to promote doctoral and post-doctoral research projects in Poland and Germany oriented towards the principal question of the research program the particular research projects deal with the process of transformation of the legal and economic systems in Eastern European States on focussing exemplary German-Polish legal issues. This should achieve a preparatory contribution to the integration of these States into the EU legal system.
In generally the especial approach of the European research training group is aimed at combining individual research projects from different fields of legal studies with the institutional framework for a cross-border cooperation between young legal academics from Germany and Poland.
