In vivo Multiphoton Imaging System
Final Report Abstract
Thus, the in vivo two-photon imaging system has been invaluable in initiating and performing projects that answer fundamental questions at a high research niveau. Given the complexity of these projects, quick publications cannot be expected, and indeed it has always been an unwavering belief of the applicants that in-depth studies directed towards fundamental questions will advance science to a more significant degree, albeit they take longer to accomplish. As described above, the imaging system has also led to highly successful grant applications as well as awards, which have convinced international experts. We expect that these projects will lead to high ranking publications over the coming years and will enable initiating several new studies.
