Final Report Abstract

Die mit dem neu installierten Großgerät bearbeiteten Projekte umfassen ausschließlich den Bereich der Materialcharakterisierung auf atomarer Ebene und dienen einem tieferen Verständnis der Mikrostruktur-Eigenschafts-Korrelation. In den letzten drei Jahren wurden unter anderem folgende Themenbereiche untersucht: 1. Charakterisierung dünner MNiSn (M=Ti, Hf, Zr) Halb-Heusler Schichten 2. Sintermechanismen in LiF dotiertem Mg-Al Spinell 3. Resistives Schalten in Sauerstoff-defizitärem Hafniumoxid 4. Pd-Ag Katalysatoren 5. Keramische Gassensoren 6. Al-dotiertes TiO2 7. Electron Beam Nanosculpting of Kirkendall Oxide Nanochannels 8. Unusual Dealloying Effect in Gold/Copper Alloy Thin Films: The Role of Defects and Column Boundaries in the Formation of Nanoporous Gold 9. Zn Based Nanoparticle–Carbon Nanotube Hybrid Materials: Interaction and Charge Transfer 10. High Pressure Synthesis of Novel Boron Oxynitride B6N4O3 11. The Nanoscale Kirkendall Effect in Binary Alloys: Trapping Gold in Oxide Nanocages 12. Influence of Post-Deposition Cooling Atmosphere and Enhanced Thermoelectric Performance of Al-doped ZnO Thin Films on Amorphous Substrates 13. Core-Shell Lead-free Piezoelectric Ceramics: Current Status and Advanced Characterization of Bi1/2Na1/2TiO3-SrTiO3 14. In situ High Resolution TEM Calcination Study of Bi1/2Na1/2TiO3-SrTiO3 15.
