Multiskalen Kontaktmodellierung bei Vorhandensein granularer Partikel in einer Zwischenschicht: Analyse, Mehrkörper Kontakthomogenisierung und experimentelle Untersuchungen
Zusammenfassung der Projektergebnisse
In this project the foundations for a profound analysis of contacts with third bodies in the interface were build. This includes the implementation of the coupling of a fully explicit Discrete-Element-Method with a Finite-Element-Method for cases were elements were much smaller than the discrete particles. Furthermore a standard homogenization scheme for the effective coefficient of friction was employed, which then was used to construct novel numerical macro friction law. This numerical friction law is the main ingredient for the used multiscale method. As the computational effort of this approach increased further when extending it to three dimensions, a focus was on a fast implementation with a good performance. To archive this first steps towards parallelization were done.
