Reconstruction of time variable distributions in statistical inverse problems (C04)

This project considers statistical inverse problems where the signal of interest can be observed only indirectly, and might in addition also depend on time. It focuses on statistical inference in such inverse models for high-dimensional data which typically arise in classification problems and other statistical learning settings and shows to manage such inverse problems in various SFB-applications.
