In acute HCV infection CD4 + T cells lose their functionality and the infection chronically in a plurality of patients, under the influence of co-inhibitor molecules. phenotypic and functional examination of intrahepatic and peripheral T cell populations will be at various stages of HCV infection. For this purpose we will also use the antigen MHC class I + II tetramer technology to to perform single-cell transcriptional analysis on different peripheral and intrahepatic antigen-specific T cell populations with different clinical courses. We plan an integrated analysis with other arms (Tregs, Tr1, Th17, NK cells, MAIT cells) of the immune system.
