The aim of the project is to expand, professionalize and continue the work of the project "Computer-aided Acquisition and Analysis Methods of Multilingual Data", which was funded from July 2005 until June 2011 by the DFG as part of the Special Research Center 538 on Multilingualism at the Universität Hamburg. The project focuses on computer-aided methods to create, manage, evaluate and publish spoken language corpora, i.e. systematic compilations of audio or video recordings of natural speech interaction and their transcriptions. The aim of the project is to create an elaborate concept to maintain and keep alive the expertise established by the development of EXMARaLDA, the software itself as well as the ressources created with it, and to make all of it available to the scientific community through the Hamburg Centre for Language Corpora (Hamburger Zentrum für Sprachkorpora, HZSK) and emerging research infrastructures. With this in mind, a data repository will be conceptualised and implemented. With this repository, existing data can be administered, maintained and made available for further use or reuse. Secondly, a line of instruments for the professional user support will be developed and tested.
