The aim of the integrated research training group Medical Epigenetics is to provide a structural framework that parallels and supports the scientific education of doctoral students within the Collaborative Research Centre 992. The research training group will foster a broad scientific education of the PhD candidates. With its research focus on epigenetics and the width of research topics spanning from molecular biology over genome-wide profiling and drug discovery to the clinic, a unique structure with high levels of synergy has been established. Ultimately, the goal is to prepare the IRTG members for the next step on their career path.
