Plants need to integrate information on environmental conditions with developmental programs. Much of this integration is achieved by phytohormone-mediated signalling. Due to their ability to control most plant traits, biotechnological modulation of phytohormone signalling by breeding and field treatments plays an important role in agricultural practice. To improve the systems understanding of phytohormone signalling and cross-talk, we are producing a systematic map of the phytohormone signalling network using an advanced interactome mapping pipeline and bioinformatic modelling. We now propose a deeper characterization of this network by studying its dynamic and functional behaviour as well as by validating selected novel networks.
