This application (resubmitted) is intended to continue and complete the project “Supplement to the Akkadian Dictionaries”, which was previously funded as a sub-project in a long-term project (applicants Manfred Krebernik/Jena and Michael P. Streck/Leipzig) together with the other sub-project “Etymological Dictionary of Akkadian”. The aim is to produce and publish the last two outstanding volumes of the Supplement to the Akkadian Dictionaries with the initial letters, Volume 5: S, Ṣ, Š, Z and Volume 6: A, E, I, U, Ḫ, Y, W.
