The proposed project will scrutinize the proper treatment of bottom quark induced effects for two of the most important Higgs production mechanisms in supersymmetric theories: gluon fusion and associated bottom-Higgs production. The effect of higher order corrections will be studied, and a consistent combination of complementary approaches will be established. Furthermore, (s)bottom effects to the supersymmetric Higgs mass will be calculated to the three-loop order. The goal is to minimize the theoretical uncertainty induced by bottom quarks in Higgs physics.
