Final Report Abstract

A summary of our main contributions: A representation of document collections that combines topic modeling with a neural embedding to exploit two relevant metadata elements: conclusions and abstracts. - The design and implementation of an approach to assess the Plausibility of a new document, e.g., to verify its consistency concerning a collection’s representation. - The design and implementation of a graph-based algorithm to identify claims in research papers in an unsupervised fashion. - The design and implementation of a technique that can re-rank documents based on a fundamental aspect of research papers: claims.
