Selective and sensitive quantification of lipid mediators and lipids using LC-MS/MS and LC-HRMS (Z01)

The Z01 project is responsible for performing the lipid analytics for all subprojects of the SFB 1039 using LC-MS/MS and LC-HRMS techniques. The methods cover a comprehensive range of analytes from the groups of lipid mediators (targeted analytics) and lipids (non-targeted analytics). Besides the further increase of selectivity and sensitivity of the non-targeted methods, metabolic flux experiments using latest HRMS-technologies will be performed. The high quality of the analytical methods as well as analytical data will remain in the focus of the activities of the laboratory. The well-established quality management system will be further optimized by stepwise digitalization.
