Zusammenfassung der Projektergebnisse

This project successfully produced permanent collaborations among the principal investigators. The scientific results achieved help to better understand the mechanics related to deformation induced by large subduction earthquakes. Unfortunately, the deformation patterns are complex and the available data were not sufficient to analyze activation along the LOFZ after the Maule 2010 earthquake. New data and new projects will help to better understand this relationship.
