In this research proposal an approach for the development of a modern composite multilayer material is presented to save recourses and weight. This combines sound-absorbing properties with form elements of high stiffness and thus opens up new possibilities in order to maximize material utilization. A combination of good damping properties with specifically adjustable material-structure-combination by beads including a flat viewing surface will be enabled for the first time. Preliminary experiments have shown that it is in certain limits possible to form the new material and damping as well as the acoustic radiation behaviour compared to monolithic plates is very promising. In particular the oscillation behavior of stiffened elements is considerably improved, and the edge areas can be left flat, to allow hemming without delamination. As part of the proposed research project, there are thus working areas, such as the characterization of elastoplatic parameters for forming. Stamping operations are analyzed and methods are developed with regard to reduced springback. In addition, the stiffening potential is studied scientifically by different bead sizes and also the supporting effect of the flat cover plate in order to transfer them to a demonstrator component. The result of this research, therefore demonstrates the technological potential and the metal forming basics of such a composite layer consisting of one-sided integrated stiffeners.
