The Priority Programme “High Frequency Flexible Bendable Electronics for WirelessCommunication Systems” (FFlexCom, SPP 1796) has been established by the Senate of theDeutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation). A duration of six yearsis scheduled for the program. The first three-year phase started in the second half of 2015. Thesecond three-year phase will commence in the second half of 2018. The project proposal wasinitiated and coordinated by Prof. Frank Ellinger. For the coordination of the second three-year phase of FFlexCom, we propose the renewal of thecoordination project. The coordination project will continue to actively stimulate and manage thecooperation and knowledge exchange between the projects. Together with the other programpartners, overall joined system concepts are studied and demonstrators explored. Joint scientificpublications will be initiated, coordinated and written. The interactive server system will bemaintained to ease the data transfer between the partners. Project workshops will be organised.Several activities will be performed and organised to promote young researchers and genderequality. To enhance the world-wide visibility and strengthen international cooperation, we maintaina web-page and organise topical sessions at international conferences. Based on the currentorganizational structure and topical groups, the coordination and programme structure will befurther optimized according to the renewed and newly accepted projects of the second phase.
