Die Gestaltung und Durchführung klinischer Studien zur antithrombotischen Therapie kardialer Patienten

Zusammenfassung der Projektergebnisse

Mein Forschungsstipendium hatte zwei Ziele: 1. Kenntnisse zu erlangen zur Gestaltung und Durchführung klinischer Studien. 2. Relevante Fragestellungen in der Herzkreislaufmedizin zu entwickeln und sie durch die Gestaltung und Durchführung von Studien zu beantworten. Ich war während des Forschungsstipendiums an mehreren Studien beteiligt, sowohl in den Phasen der Gestaltung als auch in den Phasen der Durchführung, des Abschlusses und der Datenauswertung. Aus diesem Forschungsstipendium sind mehrere Veröffentlichungen hervorgegangen. Ich zeigte den Zusammenhang zwischen Herzinfarkten, die während eines Eingriffs an den Herzkranzgefäßen auftraten, und der Ein-Jahressterblichkeit. Weiter konnte ich in einem großen Kollektiv von Patienten mit peripherer Durchblutungsstörung („Schaufensterkrankheit“) die auftretenden Herzinfarkte charakterisieren. Zeigen konnte ich, dass eine zentrale standardisierte Beurteilung von Endpunkten in klinischen Studien zusätzliche, relevante Herzinfarkte erkennt. Bei Patienten mit Vorhofflimmern nach Eingriff an den Herzkranzgefäßen konnte ich beschreiben, wie unterschiedlich in verschiedenen Krankenhäusern antithrombotische Medikamente verordnet werden.
