Project A3 aims to characterize the genetic basis underlying eco-evolutionary interactions among plant hosts and their microbiome. Focusing on wheat and ist associated fungi and bacteria, project A3 will study the role of plant immune receptors in shaping the endophytic microbial community and identify bacterial traits that determine the temporal and spatial distribution of a bacteria in the plant habitat.
