Final Report Abstract

As a summary of results achieved, we have done:  9 publications (3 joint publications in journals derived from congress publications; 1 book chapter derived of a symposium publication; 4 publications in journals derived from congress publications based on the results of the project, but with authors of one country; 1 publication at the CIRP General Assembly also based on project results, where only CIRP member are allowed to publish, therefore only German partners were the authors)  Master theses (two in Germany and four in Brazil);  Datasets for the production of 3 scientific articles;  One of them is already being sent to journals as stated in post project activities.  The finalization of the I 4.0 board game in stable version, including public release (see press release listing in section 3 - Additional Comments and Conclusion) of the game materials for free (https://boardgameindustry.wixsite.com/home/overview);  Over 12 applications, before the COVID-19 pandemic, of the board and 3 more of virtual game (mostly developed in phase 1);  More than 300 participants in I4.0 learning activities among managers, professionals, practitioners, consultancy professional, engineers and students;  Creation of a set of 12 videos available online explaining concepts related to industry 4.0 and the board game (https://youtu.be/LYkyL1Sel94);  Improving the webpage with content regarding I 4.0 and that serves as a support for the learnstruments and can also stand by itself;  More than 200 downloads of the board game material at the board game homepage  The creation of five prototype versions of the Learnstrument I 4.0 board game and application dynamic.  The sixth and stable version of the learnstrument virtual prototype;  The Learnstruments development tool implemented in Unity as a free online resource with over a hundred reusable routines;  The assets collection developed for the creation of virtual environments (three dimensional models, images, textures and animation); Post project activities and expected outcomes (currently in):  One article in progress for journal and a PhD thesis (April/2022);  Identification of opportunities for expansion of scope working with change management, leadership, continuity of implemented improvements and knowledge management in Industry 4.0. The project impacted through its application many participants, however the data collected in the applications has not yet been used to submit manuscripts to qualified journals. The following joint production articles are result of the project and are being sent to qualified journals:  Sustainability in industry 4.0 and scores in serious games – how two serious games scoring mechanics relate to industrial success indicators and learning; Omar Chaim; Edson Cazarini; Esdras Paravizo; Daniel Braatz; Bernd Muschard. Currently being submitted to “Journal of Engineering Education”.  Leadership competences based on the challenges towards Industry 4.0: an empirical analysis of experts’ perception using the Fuzzy Delphi Method; Valeria Emma Callejas Guzmán, Bernd Muschard, Jéssica Alves Justo Mendes, Mateus Cecílio Gerolamo, Holger Kohl, Henrique Rozenfeld
