Final Report Abstract

As intended, the theory for the analysis, synthesis and optimization of SD systems with FDLCP process and delay was developed in the project on the basis of the concept of the parametric transfer matrix (PTM). While the special applicability of the PTM for the treatment of FDLCP systems was already known, a new path was taken with these developments for the system type ST . In detail, the following important results were achieved: (i) Derivation of the PTM of the closed loop system for different forms of synchronization. (ii) Development of conditions for the stabilizability of the system, finding the set of all causal stabilizing controllers, solving the modal control problem. (iii) Formulation of the H2 -norm of the system using the system function and development of the corresponding optimization algorithm. The computational implementation was carried out on the basis of our own Matlab-Toolbox DirectSD. Sample calculations were carried out which demonstrate the relevance of the methods.
