The structured doctoral training program provides a framework for excellent training and education within the Collaborative Research Center. It aims at promoting the doctoral researchers’ academic independence, at enabling them to gain further qualifications, and at fostering scientific exchange within the peer group. The program includes summer schools with internationally renowned experts in the field as lecturers, an annual PhD retreat, and advanced soft skill trainings.
