Qualification of material conditions with mechanical and physical measuring methods (D01)

Subproject D01 offers descriptors of micro-pressure testing and nanoindentation for all micro samples. These have proven to be particularly sensitive to changes in microstructure of micro samples. Additional to descriptors of the first phase, descriptors to characterize the fatigue behavior and the damage tolerance will be developed. Therefore a relationship between these properties at the macro level and the results from only few load cycles in micro testing devices at homogeneous and faulty samples have to be gained.
