Damage influence in deep drawing and stretch forming (A06)

In subproject A06 rectangular cups are formed by deep-drawing (AP1) and stretch-forming (AP2). These formed components are characterized with respect to the damage state and the cyclic performance. On this basis, in AP3 a deep-drawing and a stretch-forming process are designed to increase the performance of these components. The transferability of the methods to other materials is verified using a ferritic stainless steel (AP4). In AP5 the sheets produced in A04, A08, and B06 are formed to test the impact of the developed methods on the cyclic performance.
