(I) Determine the role of IL-4 and polyamines in the regulation of adrenal function. (II) Establish if IL-4 and polyamines act as regulators of peripheral glucocorticoid action in macrophages.(III) Identify the physiological function of IL-4 and polyamines in the skeleton and evaluate their role as a potential therapy for glucocorticoid-induced and inflammation-associated bone loss.
