Improvement and dissemination of molecular imaging and therapy of adrenocortical tumours (B13)

Project B13 will develop radiofluorinated derivatives of IMAZA and IPIMA with improved imaging quality, facilitating the widespread use of PET tracers. Additionally, we will improve endoradiotherapy of ACC with [131I]IMAZA by prolonging its tumour half-life and developing synergistic treatments. Furthermore, we will develop boronated derivatives of IMAZA and IPIMA for Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) as a potential treatment alternative.
