[1] Elucidate the spatio-temporal dynamics of H2O2 changes during the yeast metabolic cycle.[2] Investigate changes in the thiol peroxidase interactome during the YMC.(i) Use redox proteomics to look for changes in protein thiol oxidation during the YMC(ii) Assess the importance of thiol peroxidases for (changes in) protein thiol oxidation(iii) Employ affinity purification and proximity-associated biotinylation approaches to directly identify thiol peroxidase interaction partners and determine whether the repertoire of interaction partners changes at different stages of the YMC. [3] Biochemically characterize promising candidate thiol switches to determine mechanistically how they affect the YMC
