Focusing on the spatiality, control and governance of (outer) space infrastructures, the sub-project explores a potentially deviant case for refiguration theory. The key question is whether and how the interaction with and handling of the complex multidimensional structure of satellite constellations, especially in control rooms, could be captured with the help of topological spatial figures such as the network space, which have so far been conceived as comparatively flat structures.
