Konstanz University is applying for financial support from the funding programme Open Access Publizieren for its open access publication fund for the duration of a further two years. The fund has been in existence for 8 years and is well-established at the university. The present application provides an overview of the open access activity at Konstanz University as well as its publication output. In particular, the application will outline the open access publication output and the associated costs as well as how these data are collected at Konstanz University. Moreover, the practical implementation of the publication fund at Konstanz University as well as steps taken in order to ensure consolidation and sustainability will be explained.
