The aim of the present proposal for Open Access Publishing at KIT is to promote the transition to quality-checked publication structures in the environment of Open Access to sustainably increase the visibility of research results. With the establishment of the KIT Library’s Publication Fund administrative and financial incentives for publishing in Open Access Journals will be created. The proposal will catalyse the process of long term implementation of progressive publishing models at KIT.
