Momentum-resolved dynamics of relaxation processes and control of spins and pseudospins in two-dimensional spintronic heterostructures (B07)
Subject Area

Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 328545488
We explore the electronic structure and spin-dependent electron dynamics in two-dimensional magnetic materials. Employing novel angle-resolved photoemission approaches, momentum-, time-, spin- and orbital pseudospin-resolved information about the electronic structure of photoexcited magnets is obtained. These approaches provide a microscopic understanding of spin-dependent scattering processes in ultrathin magnets and interfacial charge and spin transport in magnetic van-der-Waals heterostructures.
