Hydraulic and Turbo Engines and Piston Engines
Term
from 2018 to 2021
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 119193472
The sub-project S will show the benefit of the combination of a virtual and a real repair process for the regeneration of complex capital goods. A system demonstrator will be developed to demonstrate the regeneration process for turbine blades which was developed in the CRC 871. In a first step, the condition of each blade will be measured and transformed into a virtual model. This model is used to quantify the functionality of the blade and to select the optimum case-dependent regeneration path. Afterwards, the blade is automatically repaired using an autonomous loading system as well as the technologies developed in the CRC 871.
