Project C03 “Green Futures - The Transformation of Rural Waterscapes in East Africa” focuses on the development of hydraulic infrastructure and the regional, economic and social redistribution and governance of water resources as essential aspects of future-making in Kenya and Tanzania. It investigates the main drivers, dynamics, and local agency of changing waterscapes, and their social and economic consequences.
